Christopher Green is a versatile British actor, comedian, writer, cabaret performer, experiential artist, and character actor who has performed live on stage on three continents, bringing his characters to life with a sharp wit, political acuity, and bags of personality.
His work encompasses comedy, theatre, live art, cabaret and good old fashioned Variety. Proficient as a singer, musician, songwriter, actor and playwright as well as scripting material for himself and others, all the seemingly disparate elements of his work can be summed up in saying that he's not afraid of the word Entertainment.
His work has several distinct strands but they all reveal a unified vision of the transforming power of entertainment to inform, provoke and inspire.
Two of his best-known characters are Ida Barr, an old age pensioner with a penchant for rap music, music hall style, and Tina C, the naively self-absorbed American country music star from Tennessee.
His most recent project is Henry the 9, a fictional documentary film set in the not-too-distant future about the overthrow of the British Monarchy by Prince Harry, played by Chris.
